I doubt I’m the only one that has noticed this, but: where is in the heck in Giuliani?
Ok, let’s start with the positive… he cleaned up NYC. No amount of “I fixed winter Olympics in Utah” compares with “I fixed NYC.” Cleaning up the oldest metropolitan city in the USA is a BIG DEAL. Ok, now that’s out of the way…
But you’d think Giuliani was running for the Florida governorship instead of the POTUS. His attitude of “well, I can’t win those states, why bother?” bothers the heck out of me. As much as I’m against phony politicians (e.g Edwards w/ his haircut equaling my monthly groceries bill), I wish Giuliani would at the very least pretend to care about the folks that don’t vote for him. Instead he’s like “screw it, Floridians love me and I’ll take a vacation in FL.”
So while I liked him up to now, with his fiscally conservative yet sociallly liberal ways, I can’t get past the fact he didn’t care to stop by other states, specially Michigan. Those Michiganians (?) are having a heck of a hard time and the possible future POTUS wouldn’t know because he’s been too busy talking to Floridians about our concerns: Oranges and Tourism.
As an independent I don’t get to vote in the primaries here in FL. So the best I can do is blog about his blatant lack of showing of concern for the rest of America, possibly making Florida once again at the center of election controversies.
Not that anyone ever visits Hawaii and Alaska…but I think they should!
