Hi, I tried this mac version of Hamachi and ended up removing everything, or so I thought. I keep getting the same message in console now that you guys got, only I can't use the uninstall components option because it's greyed out. And when I try to install components option under help, it gives me some installation dodgy error and says it can't complete so i can't even install them to uninstall them. When I try the kill all command like console says, it says I have to have superuser permissions? What the heck is that? I am the only user and have admin priveleges so what gives?

Model Name: iMac
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Memory: 3 GB
OS: Leopard 10.5.6

Fernieville-
I thought that your article was extremely interesting and I disagree with everyone that has given you a hard time about it. I'm writing a paper on overmedication in america for my college class and it really has gotten completely out of hand. America has become a nation of hypochondriacs. I do believe that the disease exists, but the number of people being treated for it, and the number of people that actually have the disorder are drastically different. I plan on quoting part of your article in my paper, and just thought I would say thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)

My prblem with the freezing keyboard started when i installed 3rd party memory. I don't think it's the os. Anyway, I zapped the PRAM 3 days ago and it's been fine ever since.

That's a great idea. I repaired my logic board a long time ago and it started working for a while, then stopped again. Apple's repair depots wanted over $1000 for a logic board replacement so I ended up just getting a dual core intel PC instead and have had the ibook on the shelf. I'm revisiting this repair again.

You didn't mentioned...did this work for you? I'm going to give it a try. These multi layer PCB's

I had kidney stones also. And the nursing care was nonexistent. When I reported pain after meds, they wrote down that I was responding well. That way, they justified not having to do any extra work. I refused to pay the nursing portion of the bill later.

Hey there,

I had these problems a long time ago too. On Easter last year I remember 3 freezes within 30 minutes – I almost throwed that MPB to the wall … Somehow the freezes were gone for months and they occasionally returned in Autumn last year. I couldn’t believe that this might happen through the keyboard backlight, but after switching it completely of I had no more freezes since about 4 months. Let’s hope that cures this damn issue …

I'm always wary of advice from the Internet, especially when it concerns opening things up and fiddling with their innards, but I decided to give this a shot since I was going to replace the iPod in question anyway. It worked a treat. Thank you ever so much for your help.
